Kodi Ramakrishna 'Devathalu' Becomes 'Avatharam'

Director Kodi Ramakrishna is known for creating wonders at BO with Devotional films. He had given his best with socio-fantasy films like Devi, Devullu, Devi Putrudu, Anji, Ammoru
just to name a few. Everybody is aware of how his last outing 'Arundathi' created waves of sensation and has re-written the Tollywood records. There have been news that he would be directing a movie on the life history of Satya Sai Baba, but due to some reason the project has been shelved. He recently launched 'Rani Ranamma' with Arjun and Lakshmi Roy in the leads.

After a long gap, this veteran director is now coming up with another devotional film titled 'Avataram', with Kannada actress Radhika Pandit in the lead role. Bhanupriya and Rishi will be playing prominent roles in this film which revolves around the concept of devotees coming to the rescue of Gods when they are in troubles. The film is produced by Yugandhar Reddy under Arundhati Arts banner. The shooting of this movie is nearing completion. Nobody knew when this movie had been started, and on researching about the film, it is found that this is the same movie titled 'Devathalu' which was started 5 years ago and had been packed up due the financial problems of the then producer Srinivas Reddy. This project is being completed with the support of the current producer.

Talking about the movie, Kodi Ramakrishna said, “The title itself suggests what sort of a film it’s going to be. Avatharam will cater to all sections of the audience and women will like it in particular. Graphics will be a mojor highlight of the film. Ghantadi Krishna has given melodious music and Jonnavithula has written wonderful lyric. Radhika Pandit is so impressed with the film that she is releasing the film in Kannada on her own.” P Rajendra Kumar's has penned the dialogues Sri Venkat is the choreographer.
